Life - Articles - TRUST|Pensions to offer group life cover from Canada Life

TRUST|Pensions, the automatic enrolment workplace pension master trust for SMEs, is to offer optional group life cover provided by Canada Life’s Simply CLASS service.

  1.   Automatic enrolment is a requirement for over 1 million small businesses in the next few years
  2.
  3.   The group life proposition is purpose built for small businesses with 2 to 50 employees
  4.
  5.   Straightforward quote and set up by business advisers within 5 minutes
The service has been purpose built for business advisers servicing small businesses with 2 to 50 employees, requires no details on employee medical forms, employee locations or job descriptions and can be set up online in under 5 minutes.
In addition to providing 24/7 life cover, Simply CLASS offers a bereavement counselling and probate helpline for all employees.
This makes it easier for business advisers to get a broader range of benefits in place for small businesses alongside the automatic enrolment obligations.

Griselda Williams, Head of Business Development, TRUST|Pensions
"We are delighted to partner with best of breed providers to provide a broader suite of benefits to employers. Automatic Enrolment is driving fresh thinking about how employers can do the best for their employees. We want to help make those choices easier and more accessible."

 Paul Avis, Canada Life
“We believe that we have a tremendous opportunity to engage with over one million business owners on how best to support their employees. Our aim is to make life really easy, both for advisers to sell and employers to buy Group Life Assurance alongside the auto-enrolment pension. We are delighted to work with TRUST|Pensions to create a broader benefits proposition for small businesses.”
